The Collector's Edition is our way of paying homage to the original Founder's Edition which was highly sought after but nearly impossible to get.

We wanted to capture the essence of the FE while delivering something unique in its own right and with more freedom of choice. In that effort we chose to forgo a top made of SS and went with aluminum allowing the CE to be offered in five stunning colors. This includes, for the last time, our iconic Plum colorway.

Staying true to the spirit of the FE, the CE features a beautiful full copper base with our rune logo in the same style. We further this theme by pairing the base with both a copper badge and copper plate.

Exactly 100 collector's edition boards will be available only during this sale. The CE ships anywhere in the world for free.

Each will be serialized and come with a signed certificate of authenticity. There will be no extras available later.

WHAT'S NEW - THE BOARD

This latest version includes all the quality-of-life improvements seen in the round 2 and PC release but also goes further incorporating some design changes from both the IRON160 and the most recent IRON Alice keyboards.

Years of community feedback and internal testing once again brings focus back to the gaskets and gasket "pockets" where less compression and surface area is preferred. With gaskets now smaller and the "pockets" deeper the plate almost feels like it's floating in space. This, along with other improvements, leads to the best typing experience ever on the 165 and makes the board far easier to build.

Simply put, the new SE and CE represent the most complete version of this board yet, something that can only be achieved with years and years of iteration and improvement on the same design. While no design is ever fully realized we feel the IRON is pretty close.

WHAT'S NEW - PLATES AND PCBS

The default FEA-optimized plate and ALL PCBs will now support both bottom row configurations, 6.25u (ANSI) as well as 7u (Tsangan). While we will still are committed to offering force-analyzed fixed plates for the IRON series they will only be available as extras to avoid confusion when ordering.
